How far in advance should I place my order?

For wedding cakes, we recommend a lead time of 3-4 months prior to your wedding date. If you have a last-minute request, please feel free to contact us, and we will do our utmost to accommodate your request.

How much is required as deposit to secure a date?

A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due one week prior to the event. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and accept a limited number of orders each week to ensure the highest quality of service.

How do I make payment?

We currently accept payments through bank transfers or PayNow.

Is there a cancellation policy?

As your cake booking and date are reserved exclusively for you, all booking fees of $200 are non-refundable and non-transferable to an alternative date.

In the event of a cancellation by you, the following charges will apply:

For wedding cake orders cancelled more than 4 weeks prior to the event date: the booking fee only.
For orders cancelled less than 2 weeks before the event date: the full balance.

If we are unable to fulfil your order on the agreed date due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, accident, injury, or bereavement, Petalo Cakery reserve the right to engage substitute companies to complete the order. If a substitute cake designer cannot be arranged, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Do you offer cake tasting?

Yes, we do! You can book a slot for our in-person cake tasting and consultation here.

Can I have fresh flowers on my cake?

We prioritize the health and safety of our customers. Hence, we avoid using fresh flowers in our cakes to prevent any possibility of pesticides and toxins to cross-contaminate with the cake. We also take pride in crafting all our decorative flowers by hand, using only edible and food-safe materials such as sugar paste, wafer paper, and rice paper. Every element on our cakes is meticulously handcrafted from scratch to ensure both beauty and safety.

Do you have a design policy?

We pride ourselves on the basis of creative freedom, ensuring that each of our cakes is uniquely designed for every client. While we welcome inspiration photos, we refrain from copying other cake designs detail for detail.

Is a wedding cake knife & a cake stand included?

We do not provide wedding cake knife, as the venue typically supplies one. Cake stands are also available for rent at $25, with a $200 refundable deposit, returned within 5 business days after your event. Please contact us to explore our selection of cake stands available for rent.

Do you offer gluten free/ dairy free/ allergy friendly cakes?

We currently offer vegan options for our chocolate cake and chocolate raspberry flavours. If you have specific dietary requirements or requests, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Can we customise the flavour of our cake?

Yes, we offer the option to customise your cake flavour. Additional charges may apply for custom flavour requests. Please submit an enquiry with your flavour request, and we will be happy to assist you.

Can I pick up my cake?

We do not recommend self-collection for wedding cakes, as they require special care and expertise in delivery. Delivery and setup are included with all bespoke cake bookings to ensure your cake arrives safely.

Celebration Cakes

How far in advance should I place my order?

We kindly request that custom celebration cake orders be placed at least one week in advance. If you have a last-minute request, please contact us via WhatsApp, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

How do I place a custom cake order?

What are your prices for custom celebration cakes?

Custom celebration cakes start from $120. The final price depends the size and complexity of the design. For an accurate quote, please submit an enquiry here.

What are your payment terms?

Full payment is required to confirm your cake order.

How do I make payment?

We currently accept payments via bank transfer or PayNow for custom cake orders. For purchases through our online store, we accept both card payments and PayNow.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Cancellations made with at least 1 week’s notice will be eligible for a 100% refund in the form of store credit. For cancellations made with less than 1 week’s notice, no refunds or store credits will be provided.

Each celebration cake order includes complimentary candles and a plastic knife.

Are your cakes halal?

We are not halal certified; however, all of our cakes are free from pork, lard, and alcohol.

We currently offer vegan options for our chocolate & chocolate raspberry.

Can I pick up my cake?

You are welcome to collect your order from our studio located at 11 Sin Ming Rd, Thomson V Two #B1-16, Singapore 575629. Please note that pickups are available by appointment only. Please note that pickups are available by appointment only and can be scheduled between 9 AM and 5 PM daily.

Petalo Cakery will also not be responsible for any damage that may occur once the cake has left our premises.

What are your delivery charges?

Regular Delivery (4-hour window between 9 AM and 6 PM): $20.00
- 9 AM to 12 PM
- 12 PM to 3 PM
- 3 PM to 6 PM
Specific Delivery (1-hour window between 9 AM and 6 PM): $30.00

Please note that an additional surcharge of $10.00 applies for deliveries to Jurong Island, Marina Bay Sands, Sentosa, Tuas, and Jewel Changi.

THE CAKE

Do you offer cake tasting?
Yes we do! Drop us a message regarding our in-person cake tasting & consultation and we will send over our e-brochure to you.

Can i have fresh flowers on my cake?

Do you provide numbered candles/ cake toppers/ cake knifes & cake stands?
Complimentary candles and plastic knife will be included in every order.

Custom laser cut cake toppers are also available at an additional cost of $25 onwards
Gold number candles at $2 per candle.
Cake stands are available for rental at a deposit of $45.
($25 refundable upon return of the cake stand within 5 working days from the date of your event. Please contact us for our range of cake stands available for rent)

Can i pick up my cake?
Yes you can! Our cosy studio is located at 11 Sin Ming Rd, Thomson V Two #B1-16 Singapore 575629. Please note pick ups are only scheduled by appointment only.

HOW MUCH DOES DELIVERY COST?
Custom cake deliveries are prices are between $20-$35 depending on location.
Wedding cake deliveries are priced at a flat rate of $50 which includes an accompanying cake artist on site for set up.

A surcharge of $10 will be applied to deliveries to Sentosa, Tuas and Jurong Island.
